Representative Bo Biteman: A life snapshot
Bo is a trusted, rock-ribbed constitutional conservative who cares deeply about his community, and is concerned about the future of his children. He takes his civic responsibility seriously as he currently serves as an elected Precinct Committeeman and is also a volunteer firefighter/first responder with the Ranchester Fire Department. Bo is always there to take the call at any time of day or night and is willing to put his life on the line for his neighbors and fellow citizens. He tries to follow the example of our nation’s founders who not only talked the talk, but they also walked the walk. Bo doesn’t wait around for someone else to do what needs to be done; he takes the bull by the horns and gets the job done. That’s what we need in a leader, and that is what Bo will deliver in Cheyenne.
Bo pursues excellence and brings expertise and high standards to everything he does. As a Certified Professional Landman (CPL) in the oil, gas, and mining industry, he has attained the industry’s highest designation of certification for Landman. Bo knows firsthand the challenges we face regarding the crash of the coal, oil and gas industries and the ripple effect it has and will continue to have on our state and local communities. He’s living it right now and feeling the pain just like the rest of us. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a state representative who understands what the majority of his or her constituents are going through?
Bo and his beautiful and talented wife Mercedes have two precious little daughters, Alyssa (6) and Holly (4). Alyssa is enjoying kindergarten at Tongue River Elementary and Holly is going part-time to the Tongue River Child’s Place. The girls are involved in hockey, ballet, t-ball, Girl Scouts and the Awana program at the Dayton Community Church where the family attends church on Sundays.
Once you get to know Bo, you’ll soon find out he is passionate about sports and the outdoors. He loves to be in the mountains hunting and fishing. Bo is a staunch defender of the right to keep and bear arms, and will never compromise your constitutional rights, period. With Bo you know what you’re getting: honesty, integrity, family values, and passion for doing the right thing; leadership with a genuine love of Wyoming, its people and its values.
